Hi i wonder if a strait seat strut is more effective tha a manually bent one. Why i am asking?

On my dd2 it is a problem to fit a seat strut ptoperly due to the exhaust. Now i have bent a strut that it fits but here are my thoughts. I think the optimal position would be middle of the bearing carrier to the highest part of the seat. But a straight one is not possible so i had to bent it manually in 3 points. Now it has an angle of around 60 degree or 30 depends where you look from. Alternative i could fit one from the front part of the carrier to a point where it is just bit over where the seat is mounted.

What would be more effective a bent one but optimal point or a straight one and less optimal.
