Rok the Rockies Host Facility to Support Regional Racers
Peyton, Colorado, October 15, 2018 — SBR Motorsports Park is excited to announce that service and sales for the Rok by Vortex line of karting engine packages is now available at the facility. As the host facility for the Rok the Rockies karting series, SBR’s expansion into Rok service and support furthers their goal to provide an all-inclusive environment in which kart racing can continue to flourish at the southern Colorado facility.
As a service center, SBR is now poised to offer point-of-sale, parts replacement, engine servicing, and individual consultation services to those interested in participating in the Rok the Rockies tour, or that utlize the Rok powerplant for track day activities. By also becoming a Bridgestone Tire dealer, SBR will ensure that karters have a quality support system in place trackside.
“We have been happy so far with the Rok the Rockies Series, and we are excited to see it grow in 2019,” stated Lee Seigel, owner of SBR Motorsports Park. “Both the racers and the Rok engine package have performed consistently, and offer a cost-effective option to enter kart racing or continue to develop one’s speed and skills.” Seigel was also quick to note that engine rentals will continue during the winter months, and into the coming year, highlighting the success and affordability of these programs.
Younger racers may first enjoy the power of the Rok engine line with the Micro Rok, a 60cc, air-cooled engine. With the removal of restrictors in the exhaust, this engine then becomes the more competitive Mini Rok, after which the Junior and Senior Rok engines await.
